After arrival, you’ll be taken on a guided Srinagar Walking tour covering the
major sights of Old Srinagar like Zaina Kadal Bazaar, Jhelum River, Jamia Masjid
and many more with the guide explaining to you the significance and history about
them, along with that you’ll also get to visit some local food joints. Later in the
evening, you’ll be witness the local sights of the city covering Pari Mahal, Mughal
Gardens, Shankracharya Temple. Overnight in Srinagar.
Today, you’ll travel to Gurez Valley. Located in the breathtaking region of Jammu
and Kashmir, Gurez is a picturesque haven known for its untouched landscapes
and serene ambiance. As you step into this mesmerizing valley, you’ll be
greeted by a symphony of sights and sounds that awaken the senses.
The valley’s scenic beauty is awe-inspiring, with lush meadows stretching as far
as the eye can see, surrounded by snow-capped peaks that seem to touch the
sky. The Kishanganga River flows gracefully through the valley, adding to the
charm and creating a soothing atmosphere. Overnight in Dawar/Khandyal.
Today, you’ll explore Tulail Valley, that features breathtaking landscapes and
charming villages, offering tranquility and solitude. Walking through these
villages you get a real sense of what life in Kashmir is really like whether that’s
witnessing a local villager drying up spices infront of his house with grass laden
all around it or sitting beside the villagers at the village common area during
the evening with Kahwa in one hand and conversing their day-to-day life.
Overnight in Dawar/Khandyal
Today, you will leave for Keran Valley. This border village is the latest addition by the
government in the Border Tourism Initiative. This is the only village that you’ll go to with
an unobstructed border with Pakistan. The presence of military is hardly felt with the
land between the 2 countries only separated by Kishanganga River. The hospitality of the
locals is something you’ll take back along with the feeling of patriotism that you’ll
experience at the sight of Pakistan land which is tangibly so close yet so far. Overnight in
Keran
Today, take the day to relax and walk by the river. The walk along different vantage points make for a
great day. Overnight in Keran.
Today, the drive will be a long one as we come back to Srinagar. Take
the rest of the day for leisure. Later in the evening, you’ll go for Shikara
Ride. Overnight in Srinagar.
Today, you will be taken on a day trip to Tangmarg and Gulmarg. Enjoy the beautiful
landscapes of the valley. There are options for ATV ride in Tangmarg and Gondola Ride in
Gulmarg that you can do at your own cost. Overnight in Srinagar.
Transfer to the airport as per the flight timings.
