Day 01: ARRIVAL IN LEH

After reaching Leh airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred
to the hotel for check-in. Spend sometime in the hotel for rest and acclimatization.
After Lunch, proceed for walking tour around Old Leh also known as the “Kharyog”
which translate to “Palace Below” as it is situated right below the Leh Palace. During
the tour you will be taken around “Chutay Rantak” which is the famous bakers street
in Leh, it is also known for Gurudwara Datun Sahib which was built at the site of a
famous tree named after a local Deity “Gtsung Tor”. After the walking tour Visit Shanti
Stupa and Leh market. Overnight stay in Leh. (Breakfast)

DAY 2 LEH – LAMAYURU

Lamayuru is a small village in Ladakh, midway between Kargil and Leh on NH1-
D, the Srinagar-Leh highway. Moonlike landscapes carved into the Greater
Himalayas are its claim to fame. Lamayuru offers a quieter and peaceful
experience, a Buddhist town, a strong Ladakhi culture, a moonland landscape, a
centuries-old monastery, and much more to complete a true Ladakh experience.
After Breakfast, drive to Lamayuru to experience one of the most underrated and
offbeat places in Ladakh known as the “Moonland of Ladakh” because of the uneven
surface and strange rock formations. Enroute, you’ll visit Alchi Monastery and have
lunch at one of the most modern and up and coming restaurant serving the most
authentic Ladakhi Cuisine in the area. After Lunch, you’ll go ahead towards Lamayuru
village. After checking in and relaxing for a bit, you’ll leave to visit the Lamayuru
Monastery, Meditation hill and the Moonland Rocks. Overnight in Lamayuru.

DAY 3 LAMAYURU – LEH

After Breakfast, travel back to Leh. Enroute, we’ll be visiting Basgo Palace, Sangam
Confluence of River Indus and Zanskar, Magnetic Hill, Spituk monastery and Hall of
Fame. (Breakfast, Dinner)

DAY 4 LEH - CHUMATHANG

Have you ever visited a new place and felt ‘wow’ about it? If not, it will surely
happen at Chumathang. Chumathang may not be as popular as other cities but
don’t let that fool you. Chumathang is a small beautiful village that is worth a
visit. When you’re there you could witness warm water of hot springs merging in
to the Indus River and enjoy an outdoor steam bath.
After a relaxing morning, we’ll leave for Chumathang via Tanglangla Pass. Explore
this quaint little village, go for a walk around this local gem. Overnight in
Chumathang. (Breakfast, Dinner)

DAY 5 CHUMATHANG – PUGA & TSO-KAR LAKE – LEH

Puga Valley is situated in the Changthang Valley in the south-eastern part of
Ladakh. It is a region of great significance known for its natural beauty and
geothermal activities. Puga is also visited for its hot sulphur spring. The region
has shown an immense amount of geothermal energy, notably in the form of
sulphur and borax deposits, mud pools and also hot springs. This 30 km long
valley is an absolute treat for nature lovers as one gets to drive around the valley
while admiring the mountains, many of which are snow-capped, and also the
trees, boulders, salt deposits, etc. It is an excellent place for photography. One
can also spot sheep, yak, bar-headed geese, brahminy ducks, black-necked
cranes and more wildlife here.
Tso Kar is a fluctuating Salt Lake located in the Rupshu Plateau of scenic Ladakh
Valley. It is popularly known as the White Lake owing to the white salt deposits it
leaves on the shores. Tso Kar hosts varied flora and fauna attracting a horde of
bird watchers, especially during the migration season. The common birds found
here are Brahmin ducks, bar-headed geese and great crested grebe. The main
attraction, however, is the black-necked crane. The black-necked cranes, known
for their fidelity, come to Tso Kar to lay eggs. There are only a few yak sheds, a
monastery and a couple of nomadic families in the surrounding. The view of the
lake at night in the moonlight is even more stunning.

DAY 6 LEH – STOK (15 KMS)

Stok village (15 km from Leh) is home to the 14th century Stok Monastery, with
its 71 feet (22 m) high seated Gautama Buddha statue, constructed between
2012–2015 and consecrated by the Dalai Lama on 8 August 2016. Stok's 19th
century palace is the current residence of the former royal family of Ladakh.
Within the palace, a museum contains the shrine, crown, ceremonial dress and
jewelry of the Ladakhi king.
During the day you’ll be at your own leisure to explore the village. On the day, you
will be staying in a 100-year-old heritage home where you’ll be served traditional
Ladakhi cuisine for all your meals. During your stay, you’ll also have the opportunity
to visit their museum which is filled with rich cultural history. Overnight stay in Stok.

Day 07: DEPARTURE FROM STOK

After breakfast, get transferred to Leh Airport for boarding the flight to your
destination. Tour Concludes with some wonderful long-lasting memories. (Breakfast)
