DAY 1: UNAWATUNA

Unawatuna is a popular coastal town located near Galle in the southern part of Sri Lanka. It is famous for its beautiful sandy beach, clear blue waters, and relaxed tropical atmosphere. The town is well known for swimming, snorkeling, and coral reefs, as well as its palm-lined shoreline and seaside restaurants. Unawatuna also has cultural and historical significance.
Arrive at Colombo Airport and transfer to Unawatuna, Check-in the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 2: UNAWATUNA

Start the day with slow morning and leave for Galle Tour. Overnight in Unawatuna
A tour of Galle offers a wonderful experience of history, culture, and coastal beauty in southern Sri Lanka. Galle is best known for the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by the Portuguese and later expanded by the Dutch. The fort features ancient walls, colonial buildings, museums, and a famous lighthouse overlooking the Indian Ocean. Turtle Hatchery Tour

DAY 3: UNAWATUNA

Hiriketiya Bay, often called Hiri, is a small horseshoe-shaped beach famous for its golden sand, clear turquoise water, and relaxed tropical vibe. Perfect place to enjoy swimming, surfing, and sunbathing. The area is also known for its cozy cafés, beachside restaurants, and scenic viewpoints. Surrounded by lush greenery and calm ocean views.

DAY 4: SIGIRIYA/DAMBULLA

Sigiriya is one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic historical landmarks, often called the “Lion Rock.” Rising nearly 200 meters above the surrounding plains, this ancient rock fortress sits in the heart of the island and blends natural beauty with remarkable human ingenuity. Built in the 5th century CE by King Kashyapa, Sigiriya once served as a royal palace and later as a Buddhist monastery.
Pidurungla Rock Tour
Pidurangala Rock is a popular natural viewpoint located just a few kilometers from the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress in Sri Lanka. Known for its breathtaking panoramic views, the rock has historical significance as it was once home to a Buddhist monastery, with ancient ruins and a reclining Buddha statue found at its base. The hike to the summit is moderately challenging and rewards climbers with stunning views of forests, lakes, and especially Sigiriya Rock, making it one of the best spots in the area for photography and sunsets.

DAY 5: SIGIRIYA/DAMBULLA

DAY 6: COLOMBO

Colombo is Sri Lanka’s vibrant commercial capital and a dynamic gateway to the island. Blending colonial heritage with modern city life, Colombo offers visitors a rich mix of culture, shopping, dining, and coastal charm. An experience in Colombo includes scenic walks along beach, luxury hotels, rooftop restaurants, lively nightlife, and excellent shopping malls. Colombo provides travelers with the country’s history, lifestyle, and contemporary urban culture.
Drive to Colombo from Sigirya (4-5 hours) and check-in the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the city on your own. Overnight in Colombo.
